YOUR ROLE

• Responsible for managing testing laboratories and shared laboratories within the Pune facility.
• Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the testing laboratories at Pune by ensuring compliance to Henkel and local safety standards.
• Introduction of new testing capability with high flexibility and agility while ensuring safe operations at the same time. Management and motivation of a technical group ranging including permanent and temporary staff.
• Responsible for adherence to quality standards (ISO17025, ISO9000) in the testing group.
• Responsibility for maintaining systems, documentation and technical standards so as to pass external audits.
• Leadership of the team with respect to technical questions; setting the technical goals and ensuring delivery to these goals.
• Internationally recognized testing standards (ISO, ASTM, EN) are followed in the laboratory and the provision of quality results to internal and external customers is ensured.
• Day to day responses on technical questions across multiple strategic business units and technologies.
• Managing the delivery of technical data to multiple strategic business units.
• Design and implementation of globally used digital tools (eg digital intake systems; Henkel digital system- Albert for testing groups)
• Executing capital expenditures for the Pune site.
• Coordinating with global testing initiatives and testing locations in Mexico, USA, Germany, Ireland, and China.

YOUR SKILLS

• Minimum 8 years of work experience
• Should be a Masters in Science or Engineering
• Must have working experience into lab operations and management
• Should have Mechanical aptitude/testing knowledge
• Managing interfaces and interactions with multiple technical stakeholders
