As our company continues to grow, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of Product Manager reporting to a Product Director on the Platforms – Product team.


The Product Leadership team is responsible for owning and delivering internal platform components and externally facing client applications.


As a Product Manager, you can expect to work with peers from Program, Technology, Sales Engineering, Operations and Measurement leaders on a cross-functional team to help design, drive, deliver strategic initiatives from ideation through rollout.


What will you do?


  • Manage and assist analyst roles in learning their job duties.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and feature prioritization to define the future of the NielsenIQ Connect platform.
  • Support the delivery of your product to meet the goals, customer segments and use cases defined by your product.
  • Develop user stories and requirements based on a combination of your own strong product instincts, market research, and direct client feedback. 
  • Collaborate with user experience team, providing feedback on designs.
  • Work with your scrum team(s) to groom, size and detail out acceptance criteria for user stories and requirements.
  • Work with your scrum team(s) under the agile methodology to plan, execute, and deploy product features.
  • Work with your product owner(s) to prioritize backlog items into sprints.
  • Work closely with your scrum team(s) to troubleshoot feature bugs and test to ensure appropriate fixes are implemented.
  • Build supporting materials as necessary, such as training or FAQ documents.
  • Be responsible for user acceptance testing as a proxy for internal and external clients, as they match your user journey.

What you bring?


  • You possess above average logic and problem-solving skills.
  • You communicate effectively, and have demonstrated the ability to influence strategic stakeholders, and clients.
  • You have experience building software as an engineer or you have previous experience in a product role.
  • You are a fast learner, who thrives operating in new and unknown territory.

Academic:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

Technical:


  • Demonstrable experience with software development planning tools such as JIRA.
  • Demonstrable experience working with wireframe software such as Figma.
  • Demonstrable experience working with services provided by major cloud service providers: GCP, AWS, ADLS.
  • Demonstrable experience with API development.

Bonus Points:


  • Experience managing a team.
  • Familiarity with Retailer scan and Panel data.
  • Experience in finance.
  • Experience coding in Python, VBA, Java
  • Exposure to both functional and object-oriented coding paradigms.
  • Exposure to micro-service architectures.
  • Exposure to Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Exposure to ML/AI.
