Job Title: Mechanical Design Manager - Tyre Pyrolysis Plants & Detail Engineering

Location: Trichy, Tamil Nadu or Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing mechanical design projects, focusing on Tyre Pyrolysis Plants and Detail Engineering Orders. This role demands technical expertise, project management, and leadership skills to ensure efficient, effective, and high-standard project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Tyre Pyrolysis Plants:

1. Chittoor - Pyrolysis Project:
   • Collaborate with the project execution team to finalize all engineering activities before the erection phase, ensuring mechanical designs meet project specifications and standards.
     
2. Spain - Improvement of FEED Documentation:
   • Act as the primary mechanical engineering contact with the CTO of our Spanish partner company.
     
   • Take full responsibility for the mechanical engineering scope, including design of static vessels, heat exchangers, layout planning, and piping.
     
3. Turkey - Implementation of New Project Based on Existing Project:
   • Upon project confirmation, travel to Turkey to conduct thorough measurements of the existing plant.
     
   • Perform mechanical calculations, detailed engineering, and submit all necessary documentation and designs for project execution.
     

Detail Engineering Orders:

1. Maintain a continuous and productive partnership with our Chennai-based engineering consultant.
   
2. Oversee the creation and submission of detailed engineering drawings as per client orders and specifications.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in mechanical design, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  
• Proven track record in managing mechanical design projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
  
• Experience in working with international teams and projects, with the ability to travel as needed.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  
• Proficiency in mechanical design software and tools.
  

• Assist management in preparing estimations for engineering-related orders.
  
• Willingness to travel for project execution and meetings.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
