Cohesity offers a web-scale, hybrid cloud infrastructure for data management. We are looking for Software Engineers who are motivated and passionate and willing to enhance Cohesity’s Products and by working on features, tools, scripts that will make it easy to sell, deploy and maintain. You are not only a Software Engineer who designs and implements features but should have knack of diagnosing problems in large bodies of complex code, understand scalability and performance and work on fixes with rapid turnaround time and high quality. You will be part of our Product and Sustenance Engineering team and willing to work with Product Managers and more importantly with Customer Support, System Engineers and Customers.
We are looking for experienced and exceptional engineers who are up for the challenge of leading and building high quality distributed systems and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:
⦁    Design and build beautiful UI using the Angular framework
⦁    Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
⦁    Work closely with product management team to understand user needs; participate in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
⦁    Build single page web applications; develop HTML/CSS user interfaces; integrate frontend components
⦁    Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create great product experiences
⦁    Build RESTful APIs that interface with the Cohesity backend systems
⦁    Develop and Debug end to end from UI to the backend

Requirements:

⦁    Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related fields.
⦁    Min 4+ years of relevant UI development experience.
⦁    Proficiency in Angular or React Frameworks or JavaScript
⦁    Experience developing single page HTML5 applications using client-side frameworks like Angular JS/Angular
⦁    A good knowledge of User Interface patterns and techniques to solve common UI problems
⦁    Deep understanding of RESTful API design, and developing web applications that use RESTful APIs
⦁    Experience working with designers and ability to convert mockups into working client-side code using HTML5 / CSS3
⦁    Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests
⦁    Familiarity with building dashboards, using graphing libraries

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
