The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
- Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
- Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

The Microstrategy Sr. Programmer & Lead will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, providing architecture level solutions, and also coding, testing, and deploying application enhancement releases for the CCRS System, which serves global clients across North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing technical leadership in building complex, scalable, enterprise level solutions
- Build and sustain strong relationships with the senior business leaders associated with the platform
- Design, code, test, document and implement application release projects as part of development team.
- Work with global development leads to ensure design and coding best practices.
- Work closely in scaled agile and show leadership in adoption of the principles.
- Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
- Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
- Use Scaled agile to monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback; understand potential speed bumps and client’s true concerns/needs.

Qualifications and Competencies
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of MicrsStrategy application design and development experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Scaled Agile framework.
- Must be well versed with Object Migration, User Management, Security Groups, roles, ACLs, Security Filters.
- Expertize in Creating reports, static/dynamic dashboards, documents using MicroStrategy
- Experience in Narrowcast.
- Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle for DW/BI projects.
- Experience in working multiple OS (Unix, Linux, Win)
- Solid knowledge of performance tuning of large technical solutions with significant volumes
- Strong Database experience (DB2/Oracle/SQL)
- Practical experience with SDK
