Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a Mobile Architect (Android) to lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performing Android applications. This role provides architectural direction, supports delivery teams, and helps build reliable enterprise mobile solutions that align with business and technology goals.

Architect and design Android applications for scalability, security, and performance
Define architecture standards, reusable components, and coding practices
Work with product, UX, and backend teams on APIs, workflows, and integrations
Lead technical reviews, guide developers, and enforce architecture standards
Drive feasibility analysis, PoCs, and estimations
Support the full mobile lifecycle from design through deployment and optimization
Promote clean architecture, MVVM/MVI, and modularization

10+ years in mobile development with strong Android focus
Experience leading complex Android architecture and delivery
Strong experience in mobile-backend integration using REST APIs, JSON, and WebSockets
Experience with enterprise-grade or multi-module Android applications
Agile/Scrum experience preferred
Equivalent architecture ownership in senior Android roles may also qualify
Day-to-Day Activities
Define Android architecture and module design
Review requirements and recommend technical solutions
Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and engineering teams
Conduct code and design reviews
Create architecture documentation and reusable standards
Support PoCs, estimates, CI/CD, deployment, and performance improvements
Identify risks and guide technical decisions
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Equivalent practical experience may also be considered
Preferred Certifications
Android, cloud, or Agile certifications
