We are seeking an experienced Technology Engineer with strong expertise in Network Security and Network Infrastructure to support large-scale enterprise network and security operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing firewalls, load balancers, proxy technologies, micro-segmentation platforms, external DNS, CDN services, and network security management tools within complex enterprise environments.
The role will focus on network security operations, decommission initiatives, software upgrade programs, infrastructure change management, incident management, disaster recovery activities, and automation validation across the network security landscape.
Key Responsibilities • Execute decommission activities across the network security environment, including: Removal of IP addresses External DNS entry decommissioning SSL certificate removal Service decommissioning activities • Perform configuration changes and implementation activities across: Firewalls Load Balancers Proxy Platforms Micro-Segmentation Solutions External DNS Infrastructure CDN Services • Plan, coordinate, and execute software upgrades across: Firewalls Load Balancers Proxy Infrastructure Micro-Segmentation Platforms Network Security Management Applications • Support enterprise change management processes including: Change Request creation Risk assessment Change implementation Change validation Stakeholder coordination CAB approvals • Create and maintain: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Runbooks Technical documentation Operational procedures • Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority incidents affecting: Firewalls Load Balancers Proxy Infrastructure Micro-Segmentation Platforms External DNS Services CDN Services DDoS Protection Solutions • Provide technical guidance and support to L2 Operations teams during critical incidents and emergency change implementations.
• Execute planned Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and infrastructure recovery exercises.
• Support project go-live activities and provide implementation support for newly released solutions and services.
• Participate in automation initiatives by: Performing automation validation and regression testing Acting as an early adopter of newly developed automation tools Providing operational feedback to automation engineering teams Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency improvements Required Technical Skills • Strong hands-on experience in Network Security and Network Infrastructure operations.
• Expertise in: Enterprise Firewalls Load Balancers Proxy Technologies Micro-Segmentation Solutions External DNS Services CDN Platforms SSL Certificates Management • Strong understanding of: Network Security Architecture Security Operations Enterprise Infrastructure Management Incident Management Change Management Disaster Recovery Planning • Experience performing software upgrades and maintenance across network security platforms.
• Experience supporting DDoS protection solutions and CDN services.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities across network and security environments.
• Experience working with network security management and monitoring platforms.
• Exposure to automation tools, automation testing, and operational process improvements.
