Job Description
  • Responsible for successful delivery of Tier 2 operational support and consultation for areas of expertise
  • Responsible for incident queue review and analysis of Tier 1 support tickets
  • Adept at determining requirements by interviewing business users, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions
  • Provide functional specification (MD50) to customize Oracle functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design.
  • Perform functional tests to ensure configuration meets the Business requirements.
  • Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, tools, templates and methods and able to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements
  • Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrades and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting functional issues.
  • Ability to think logically in solving problems and to present recommendations in a clear and concise form as part of the ongoing Customer Support
  • Work closely with Oracle support and raise service request as and when required for business critical issues.
  • Should be willing to work in Shifts

Qualifications

Education


  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent related IT experience.

Experience


  • Resource should have 8 to 10 years of Oracle EBS Functional experience.
  • Should have at least 2 full life cycle implementations experience.

Knowledge and Skills


  • Expertise in Finance modules GL, AR, AP, FA, CE and iEXP
  • Knowledge in SQL queries.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Worked in EBS Production support (Incidents, Enhancements and Problem Tickets management) adhering to critical SLAs.
  • Should have knowledge in Month end closure and SOX activities.
  • Should have 3rd Party integration knowledge with Oracle.
  • Should have knowledge of ITIL processes.
