 As a Payroll Service Representative, you are responsible for providing guidance and research in response to a wide variety of questions and issues through a ticket system.  Assists in organizing, overseeing, and assigning the work of payroll employees; assists in training, monitoring, and guiding the work of assigned employees; assists in resolving routine and complex payroll related problems, which may arise suddenly, be of an urgent nature, and require extensive and detailed research collected from multiple sources and locations, requiring a high degree of coordination, analysis and synthesis of information; assists in coordinating and facilitating cross-departmental work teams as needed.  In a strategic customer-oriented manner, communicates with personnel, and others, regarding payroll related concerns and issues to provide outreach as a partner with Cubic.  This role will be working closely with HR, Accounting partners, and employees.


  • Coach clients in use of our software systems
  • Troubleshoot problems arising with payroll software and payroll related systems 
  • Support clients in use of time & attendance software
  • Respond to and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support internal accounting staff needs
  • Analyzes, audits, and assists in overseeing proper processing of employee attendance reports and records
  • Calculates, records, and monitors salary adjustments, overtime pay, and compensatory time for accuracy.
  • Works with internal teams to resolve complex issues
  • Provide quality client service to maintain high rate
  • Act as subject matter expert within the payroll department
  • Reconciles designated accounts by analyzing, reviewing, extracting and interpreting information; identifies problems and discrepancies such as imbalance of monthly statements, examines documents to determine the reasons for problems and discrepancies
  • Performs other related duties
  • Supports PR, HR, and Benefit questions

  • Tech savvy (quick learner who is comfortable with technology and able to problem solve issues where software is not intuitive)
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • High level payroll knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience of APAC region
