Job Description

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Submit to the Executive VP Operations of the region proposals for the local production strategy. In this respect, he/she develops an Industrial plan in conjunction with Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Industrial Development, Purchasing and Finance Directors, as well as the group’s functional departments.

  • Operate on the operational level to oversee the human and technical resources required for the production processes in line with the Industrial plan approved by the Management Board and the MPD guidelines:

  • Is responsible for ensuring the implementation of local legislation regarding health and safety, insurance, competition, taxes, labor law and environmental matters,
  • Is responsible for the quality of products delivered by the plant and ensures that the quality is at least compliant with technical specifications defined by customers and the Group.
  • Supervise functional departments staff located in the plant.
  • Monitor entity’s performance (QCD & HSE) with special attention to health and safety and customer satisfaction, and ensure regular communication to all the team in the entity.

Requirements :

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelors degree in Engineering(Mechanical/Plastic/Production) with minimum 20 years experience in manufacturing industries out of which 10 years in Tier 1 supplier in Automotive industry with 5 years management experience.

Technical Knowledge



  • Robust experiences in operation, especially in Production\ Engineering \ Quality \ Logistics (knowledge about Plastics Injection moulding\ Assembly).
  • Knowledge about Finance, such as budget\capex\cost.
  • In-depth knowledge of working methods used by Tier-1 automotive suppliers (MRP, Lean Manufacturing, JIT,…).
  • Perfect command of the QCD aspects.
  • QSE2 management system standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001…)


Professional abilities



  • Leadership and coordination skills, integrity, managerial skills.
  • Autonomy, organizational abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Synthetic and analytical thinking, rigor, and tenacity
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, PDM, AKWEL Portal and customer portals)
  • Proficiency in English.
