Platform and Silicon Validation Engineer

NVIDIA Platform and Silicon Solutions Group is seeking world class Engineers to lead post-silicon development and validation of our state-of-the-art Automotive platforms and GPUs. You will be part of a highly motivated, talented, global HW team and play a crucial role in delivering a high quality, state of the art GPU products to serve various markets.  You will get to lead system and IO characterization efforts of various high speed IOs such as PCI-E Gen5, High Speed Automotive ethernet, UFS, System level functional testing for performance, system stability and interoperability.

What you will be doing:

• Drive planning and execution of electrical and functional bring up, system level feature validation, corner qualification and resulting debug on NVIDIA production platforms.

  
  

• Drive related schedule, programming guides, customer escalations, manufacturing yield improvements and design feedback.

  
  

• Coordinate with platform design, board design, Simulation, diagnostics, ATE, firmware, Application engineering and marketing teams.

  
  

• Develop new methodologies to improve the platform validation processes.

  
  

• Find innovative solutions to complex platform and system level problems to productize silicon/products and refine future designs.

  
  

What we need to see:

• BTech/BE degree with at least 2+ years of relevant experience working in analog, Serdes IP validation

  
  

• Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, and computer architecture.

  
  

• Excellent knowledge of Signal integrity concepts, Jitter, Silicon characteristics and high-speed interface electrical characterization interfaces (any of PCIe-gen3/Gen4, USB3, Thunderbolt, SAS, DDRx or similar protocols)

  
  

• Thorough knowledge of lab/measurement equipment (DSOs, BERT, VNA, Protocol analyzers, Data Acquisition units) is required.

  
  

• Strong data analysis skills. Prior experience working with volume data is a plus.

  
  

• Strong programming skills in one or more of Python, JavaScript, C/C++
