Job Description

Job purpose Team PHINIA is actively seeking a PLM Systems Support and User Management Specialist with a robust focus on Siemens Teamcenter. This specialized role is centered around supporting, managing, and optimizing our Siemens Teamcenter PLM system, ensuring a smooth, efficient user experience for our automotive product development and lifecycle management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for user support, access management, and system maintenance within the Teamcenter environment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide first-level support for Siemens Teamcenter users, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system usability in the automotive context.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within Siemens Teamcenter, aligning with organizational structures and project needs in the automotive sector.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to the Siemens Teamcenter system, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with automotive industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and PLM teams to coordinate system upgrades, patches, and customizations in the Teamcenter environment.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users, enhancing their understanding and efficiency in using Siemens Teamcenter for automotive applications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, user guides, and best practices within the Teamcenter framework.
  • Monitor system performance, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance user experience and system reliability in the automotive context.
  • Liaise with Siemens support and technical teams to resolve complex issues and stay updated on the latest Teamcenter features and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective Teamcenter solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of data management and security protocols within Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards.

What we’re looking for


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supporting and managing PLM systems, particularly Siemens Teamcenter, within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Siemens Teamcenter architecture, workflows, ACL, modules, and user management principles.
  • Familiarity with automotive engineering and manufacturing processes and how they integrate with PLM systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing efficient and effective user support in PLM environments.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conducting training and effectively interacting with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to user support requests in a dynamic automotive setting.
  • Experience with data security and compliance within PLM systems, especially in relation to the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for enhancing Teamcenter functionalities is a plus.
