Product Manager - CRM


If you’re a Product Manager interested in product platform strategy and product development in the CRM space, this is the opportunity for you. You’ll be at the heart of enabling our internal users (primarily those in Sales, Marketing, Finance) to do their jobs as efficiently as possible using our global CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365. Our CRM data and functionality tie together our core enterprise processes, from marketing to sales to service of our clients.


In this role, you will own the global product roadmap of sales functionality for CRM and will prioritize, define, and then build capabilities to meet user needs across NielsenIQ. You’ll collaborate with a team of product, technology (developers, QA, UX and architecture) and commercial leaders to define product features and generate / maintain detailed requirements to ensure the product meets evolving business needs and enable our users to work effectively and drive our business forward.


In your role, you would:​​


  • Work with the Product Leader to understand and grow the overall CRM product vision
  • Grow your expertise in our current CRM functionality, how users use it and key pain points; form trusted relationships with our stakeholders
  • Drive the delivery of your product to meet the goals, stakeholder requirements and uses cases defined
  • Proactively plan focus areas for upcoming program iterations (PIs) and effectively demonstrate to business stakeholders the key problems we will solve and the impact we will deliver
  • Build and own the roadmap to meet the product vision, delivering as much iterative value as possible for our business
  • Own the backlog, prioritization of features, value vs. complexity tradeoffs, and cross-functional dependencies / risks
  • Create epics to clearly articulate problems statements and objectives, and guide the tech teams and business toward a shared understanding
  • Support the breakdown of epics into user stories and requirements
  • Collaborate with scrum team(s) to plan, execute and deploy features and functions (using SAFe)
  • Ensure end-to-end product definition and delivery of solutions (input forms, business logic, approval processes, process execution)
  • Collaborate with user experience team, providing feedback on the designs
  • Owns user acceptance testing as a proxy for client users as they match your user journey
  • Form hypotheses and potential solutions quickly that can be vetted out in prototypes or wireframes, partnering with UX​
  • Work with internal users and usage data to validate the effectiveness and success of your changes
  • Articulate the product strategy, technical implementation, and operational process
  • Evangelize the product(s) with internal stakeholders as a subject matter expert on the product
  • Analyze stakeholder feedback to improve product features and capabilities

We are looking for people with:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience​
  • 6+ years of experience in a Product Manager role, with previous experience in a Technology, Sales Operations, or Data Science role​
  • Solid ability to present information in the simplest and most compelling way​
  • Solid communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience optimizing enterprise sales processes is preferred
  • Experience using JIRA for requirements and development work tracking is preferred
  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus
  • Good understanding of technical concepts, services and implementations​
  • Excited to ideate on new challenges while simultaneously diving into the details​
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and flexible environment where no two days are the same​
  • Enjoys working in the gray or unknown - defining the undefined, challenging the status quo, and solving uncharted business challenges ​
  • Passion for using data and feedback to inform decisions and to advocate for our users
