The position / About the Job:

In this job the Production Engineer would be responsible for:

• Tool path generation in edge cam software (Edge cam 2022 R1)
• Preparing CNC machines programming & proving components on DMG 5 Axis, Mori Seiki turning, Goratu Turning, Sunfirm /other Turnmill, Mitsubhishi HMC, etc with fanuc & siemens control.
• Preparation of process sheets & Time study activity.
• Improvement of cutting Tools and methods for productivity.
• Designing of Tool/jigs/fixtures for process improvement.
• Overall project coordination of Machining optimization in Decanter.
• Selection of cutting tools, Cost estimation & follow up.
• Prove outs of New Tools in Decanter Shop
• Preparation & modification of tool drawings in Auto CAD.
• Should know problem-solving techniques regarding shopfloor activities.
• Engineering support to CU shop for method establishment.
• Control & maintain a computerized Tool Register with latest updates.
• To attend cell status board meeting.
• Supporting PRP, KIZEN, 5S , SOP on shop
• Manage small projects from EPD / CAPEX / Operational plan / Productivity as & when assigned. •Good to have 3D modelling, 3D assembly (Creo 7.0.2.0/ Unigraphics & Autocad software).
• BE/DME Mechanical from a reputed University/college with good academic record.
• 5 to 10 years of Experience in a similar industry with a similar job profile
• Microsoft (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
