The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission Statement:
You will be a part of the Substation Secondary team and support the execution of Control & Relay Panel and LCC engineering. Your work involves mainly creating electrical circuit diagrams and supporting documents. We use the AutoCAD Electrical tool for generating the schematics. You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required need to work in coordination with other colleagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task.
Your Responsibilities:
Preparation of SLD, Protection Block Diagram, Interlocking logics.
Prepare schematics for Control and Protection panels / Local control cubicles and associated manufacturing documents.
FAT and commissioning activities and resolve issues arising in each of these stages and interface engineering with Primary equipment.
Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects as per quality process.
Ensures implementation design changes in commissioning and the production of Red Marked up and as built project documentation.
Supports continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible for technical validation of vendor documents generated based on the design inputs.
Maintains good communication and collaboration with stake holders.
Ability to work autonomously and as a part of team.

Your Background:
Bachelors in electrical Engineering.
Must have 3-6 years of experience.
Proficiency in required design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, MicroStation, E3)
Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. ANSI, IEC, etc
Knowledge on Control & Interlock logics and functionalities.
Knowledge online, Transformer and Bus bar protection logics and functionalities.
