Position Overview
As part of Solenis’ continued growth, we are seeking a Quality Manager for our manufacturing unit-based role.
Job Title - Quality Manager – Manufacturing Unit
Department - Quality (QA / QC)
Reports To - Head Quality - India
Location - Nalagarh, HP
Role Purpose
To ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance by maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain QMS as per applicable standards (ISO / GMP / industry-specific).
Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements.
Oversee in-process and finished product quality; approve release decisions.
Lead internal audits and coordinate external/customer audits.
Manage deviations, non-conformances, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely investigation and closure.
Monitor supplier quality and incoming material controls.
Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and records.
Lead, train, and develop the QA/QC team.
Drive quality KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science (Master’s preferred).
7–12 years of quality experience in manufacturing.
3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, CAPA, and RCA tools.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in documentation and quality systems.
Authority
Approve or reject materials and finished products.
Stop production in case of critical quality or compliance risks.
Recommend system and process improvements.
