About the job

We are seeking a talented, self-motivated, and experienced Systems Engineer to own the build, release, and infrastructure automation backbone for leading edge security products on API Management & Observability used by many of the world's largest companies. In this role, you will be a key member of the engineering team, focused on CI/CD pipeline engineering, environment provisioning, third-party system integration, and production-grade debugging across the SDLC.

• You are an expert in using AI Code assist tools (Claude/Cursor etc) as Coworkers and not as prompt engineers.

  
  

• Good understanding of AI Spec driven development methodologies like Plan/BMAD mode etc and use it thoroughly, to map out and implement all phases of SDLC.

  
  

• Understand Context Engineering & Token Optimization techniques and create/maintain reusable skills, contexts across multiple teams and repos.

  
  

• Understand Agent Orchestration, manage multi-agent workflows to handle complex, multi-step engineering tasks like new capabilities, codebase refactoring, upgrades, and vulnerability patching.

  
  

• Code Review & Quality Control: Critically review AI-generated code for architectural alignment, design, and performance bottlenecks.

  
  

Required Skills:

• Hands-on Linux and Windows administration.

  
  

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and configuration/scripting tools: Packer, Ansible, Terraform.

  
  

• Cloud knowledge with hands-on exposure to GCP and GKE (Kubernetes on GCP).

  
  

• Experience with security/code-quality scanning tools such as BlackDuck and Coverity, and remediating findings.

  
  

• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes).

  
  

• Understanding of networking/protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP) relevant to system integrations.

  
  

• Strong hands-on knowledge of build and dependency management tools like Gradle and Maven.

  
  

• Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining Jenkins pipelines (declarative/scripted) and Git-based branching/release workflows.

  
  

• Experience integrating and validating against diverse third-party servers and systems

  
  

• Solid understanding of databases for test data setup, validation, and troubleshooting.

  
  

• Working knowledge of LDAP/directory servers for authentication and authorization integration testing.

  
  

• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across build, deployment, and runtime environments.

  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage test/build infrastructure using Packer, Ansible, and Terraform across cloud (GCP/GKE) and on-prem environments.

  
  

• Create and maintain machine images and infrastructure templates (Packer images, Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks) for repeatable environment provisioning.

  
  

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Jenkins CI/CD pipelines supporting build, test, and release workflows.

  
  

• Own Git repository/branching strategy and release engineering practices.

  
  

• Install and configure various third-party servers used across products.

  
  

• Run and triage security and code-quality scans (BlackDuck, Coverity) and drive remediation with development teams.

  
  

• Manage Gradle/Maven build configurations and dependency upgrades across projects.

  
  

• Debug complex build, deployment, and environment failures, performing root cause analysis and driving fixes.

  
  

• Collaborate with QA and Development teams to keep CI/CD, infrastructure, and tooling reliable and secure.

  
  

• Continuously improve pipeline performance, environment stability, and infrastructure automation coverage.
