- Maintaining Up-to-Date Knowledge: Radiology technicians must stay informed about the latest practices and advancements in radiology. This includes continuous learning and potentially participating in additional training or certification programs.
- Pre-Examination Review: Before conducting any radiological examinations, technicians are responsible for reviewing the patient's charts and any notes from doctors to understand the medical background and the specific areas of concern.
- Record Keeping: During and after the radiological procedures, technicians need to maintain accurate and comprehensive records of the procedures. This includes noting any specific observations during the exam, results, and ensuring this information is securely logged and accessible for future reference.
