About The Position

Job Description

• Ability to understand end to end Regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level.
• Having Experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing.
• Architect a complete solution for regressions, benefiting the end customer with comprehensive results.
• Responsibility to bring up a holistic and a long term solution for regression testing carried out on networking products.
• Result Reporting restructure to bring in the value and covering multiple aspects of testing to give customer confidence on the quality.
• High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.
• Working with Development and Test Teams to analyse Test coverage and gaps and debugging the problems.
• Preferably have experience with JUNOS/EVO.
• Performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to identify Use Case Coverage gaps.
• Test Automation Frameworks, tools and scripting languages (Perl, Python) a must.

• Responsibilities include test script execution, data sourcing/data provisioning, defect analysis, and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.

• Switching ASIC Internals
• Switching System Architecture Awareness
• Telemetry Sensor - OCST

Additionally, working knowledge of L3 protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, and BGP is essential. Familiarity with traffic test equipment like Ixia and Spirent, as well as expertise in automation using Python and the Robot framework, are highly desirable.

Experience/Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BE/BTEC/ME/MTEC) from a reputed university or college.
• 7+ years of experience in qualifying networking products.
• Certifications in networking, such as JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIP, or equivalent, will be considered an added advantage.
