As part of our Data & AI practice, you will join a worldwide network of smart and driven colleagues experienced in leading AI/ML/Statistical tools, methods and applications. From data to analytics and insights to actions, our forward-thinking consultants provide analytically-informed, issue-based insights at scale to help our clients improve outcomes and achieve high performance.
What you would do in this role
The ideal candidate shall be able to,
- Provide world class insights to leaders and stakeholders in the energy industry and help solve some of the most complex problem statements in the industry.
- Design and implement end to end cutting-edge industrial AI solutions for clients in the energy industry, leveraging Gen AI, classical AI, edge analytics, space-tech analytics, data supply chain and cloud technologies.
- Work on new business opportunities, develop client proposals, and participate in sales pursuits, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Interface with clients/account team to understand engineering/business problems and translate it into analytics problems that shall deliver insights for action and operational improvements.
- Consume data from multiple sources through relevant data supply chain solution and present information in a crisp and digestible manner that delivers valuable insights.
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, data and ML engineers, and consultants, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to maximize team performance and growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team and across larger Accenture ecosystem, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and best practices.
- Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of core experience in data science, analytics, data management and cloud architecture with at least 5+ years in the energy/ oil and gas industries.
- Proven track record of success in client engagement, business development, and team leadership, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep expertise in data science techniques and methodologies, including Generative AI, machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis, optimization, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, Pyspark, SQL etc.
- Extensive experience in deployment of data and AI solutions on cloud infratructure, with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and familiarity with cloud services, infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Expertise in scaling data and AI solutions by building end to end pipelines with MLOps, DataOps, XOps frameworks and understanding of DevOps tools and frameworks.
- Proven expertise in industrial analytics, edge analytics, geospatial analytics.
- Understanding of Foundation models and experience in delivering end to end production grade solutions with Generative AI is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Relevant certifications in data science, cloud computing, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer etc.) preferred.
