The AWS Field Experience team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Salesforce Developer II to build solutions that make it simpler for our field team to manage and operate at scale. As a Salesforce Developer II on AWS Field Experiences team, you'll contribute to defining and building the next go-to-market (GTM) platform for the AWS Sales organization. In addition to working on the latest AWS technologies, you'll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You'll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the Development efforts, build solution on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex and Web Services applications built AWS Field Experiences Tech Team. You will partner with other members in AWS Field Experiences Tech research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling, and monitoring. You will also be involved in supporting cross systems and related integrations across native Salesforce eco system.
Key job responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise Salesforce solutions on AWS CRM (80K+ users, 1B+ records).
Lead Apex architecture for high-scale data processing—data aggregation, ETL optimization, complex rollup logic.
Design agentic integrations between AWS services and Salesforce platforms (Agentforce, Headless 360
Build Lightning components with strict data isolation and row/field-level security
Optimize SOQL queries and reduce platform technical debt
Refactor synchronous automations to asynchronous patterns using Change Data Capture (CDC)
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Partner cross-functionally with product, data engineering, and AWS services teams on integrations
Drive platform stability initiatives—reduce SOQL errors, deprecate legacy packages, improve transaction latency
Execute with ownership, bias for action, and insist on highest standards
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using Salesforce.com at an advanced level including the development of dashboards and reports, programing experience
- Experience with at least two large, successfully custom-built Salesforce applications
- Experience developing web services or with Salesforce API, Metadata and other APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce
- 5+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
