Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation & Response) platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated security workflows to improve SOC efficiency and incident response capabilities.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python for security operations.

  
  
  

• Design and implement playbooks in SOAR platforms.

  
  
  

• Integrate security tools (SIEM, EDR, Email Security, Firewall, Threat Intelligence platforms).

  
  
  

• Develop REST API integrations with third-party security tools.

  
  
  

• Perform debugging, logging, and error handling of automation workflows.

  
  
  

• Optimize existing playbooks to reduce MTTR.

  
  
  

• Work closely with SIEM, IR, and SOC teams to identify automation opportunities.

  
  
  

• Maintain documentation of automation logic and workflows.

  
  
  

• Ensure secure coding practices.

  
  
  

Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Strong hands-on experience in Python (3.x)

* Cloud Security Frameworks: Exposure to industry-recognized cloud security frameworks and standards, including knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory mandates. * Advanced Threat Analysis: Familiarity with advanced threat analysis and incident response methodologies, including experience with threat intelligence and security analytics tools. * Zero Trust Architecture: Understanding of zero trust architecture principles and implementation strategies, including experience designing and deploying secure infrastructure solutions.
