Senior Data Scientist - Real World Data

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Global Real-World Data Product team to create deep statistical understanding and build models for our Life Sciences & Healthcare customers.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

• Graduate/ Pot Graduate in Any Discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science field within the healthcare space, deep and nuanced understanding of statistics, mathematics, computer science, and be able to sift through technical material (such as papers, open-source code repositories) to continuously improve on solutions and stay on top of the cutting-edge developments in the field
• Experience of working with various medical data such as electronic health records, pharmacy, claims data, etc.
• Experience working on real-life Natural Language Processing and / or Computer Vision problems; real-life experience in Regression & Classification problems and / or unsupervised learning problems would be considered a bonus
• Be proficient in R and / or SAS and/or Python and / or SQL, Tableau, web tools such as cloud databases (Redshift, etc.) would be considered a bonus, basic understanding of technologies needed for deployment of machine learning solutions,

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Ability to understand and develop solutions with real world, commercial, and clinical datasets and the customer delight mindset by converting insights and models into strategic opportunities and action for our customers.
• work with the Real-World Data Analytics and Data Science team to identify and structure relevant value-adding problems for clients to solve, using healthcare data.
• Will conceptualize and own the design of the solutions (typically application of statistical methods to RWD), work with analysts to extract, process, and prepare data on a planned as well ad hoc basis.
• Need to leverage appropriate statistical methods and machine learning techniques and liaise and engage with the clients during the progress of the solution to communicate results and ensure buy-in and closure.

About the Team   

 You will be part of Clarivate’s “Real-World Data Products” team business unit which has  a mix of analysts , product managers , data scientists , clinical consultants, client engagement leads  etc . Our mission is to build a world class RWD Product that can provide healthcare insights that change lives, through data mined from DRG RWD Repository (US Healthcare Real Word Claims and HR Data). Team members typically have the ability to understand and develop solutions with real world, commercial, and clinical datasets and help with the customer delight mindset by converting insights into strategic opportunities and action for our customers.

Hours of Work  

45 hours in a week as an FTE. Mon- Friday (12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST) Hybrid work mode
