Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
* Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for backend platforms on Kubernetes (EKS)
* Own and operate the Kubernetes platform end-to-end (provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and maintenance), with deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, core components, and operational best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in production environments.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, Ansible, or Serverless
* Manage AWS services: AWS EKS(Kubernetes) , AWS MSK (Kafka), S3, RDS, EC2, Redis Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
* Design VPC architecture, networking, and secure connectivity (peering, routing)
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Implement observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
* Ensure security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance readiness
* Optimize systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
* Support high-volume, distributed, mission-critical systems



Additional Responsibilities

* Experience with multi-cloud (Azure/GCP)
* Familiarity with event-driven / streaming architectures
* Exposure to OTA, IoT, or large-scale distributed backend systems



Technical Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 12+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering / SRE
* Strong expertise in AWS cloud platform
* Proven experience with Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) in production environments
* Strong experience in end-to-end Kubernetes platform management
* Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, Ansible)
* Experience with:
o Kafka / MSK
o RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
o Redis / ElastiCache
o S3, EC2, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
* Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
* Strong knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security)
* Experience with CI/CD automation
* Hands-on experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
* Experience handling:
o High-throughput, high-volume systems
o Mission-critical production platforms
* Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and compliance practices
