Data & Analytics (D&A) function within TR caters to how Thomson Reuters uses, manages, and protects data to create a data-driven culture across the entire organization resulting in a world-class Data & Analytics company.



The BI Platforms Team runs enterprise BI Platforms that facilitates the time to market for analytics and data science teams to run experiments, train models and generate insights. Core to the team’s principles will be the implementation of data and model governance standards and operationalization of the model release process.


As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps processes to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our systems. You will be working on building new CI/CD deployment pipelines that will help streamline all the Applications Code build and releases. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing and enhancing our DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.


 The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience and a deep understanding of Git Actions, Git CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudFormation, networking, version control, and scripting (Linux/Python). Optional experience in Agile Methodologies, AWS Lambda, API gateways, Systems Manager (SSM), Terraform, Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow (MWAA), and deployment processes is highly desirable.

About the role


•Design and implement CI/CD pipelines on User Facing Applications using Git Actions, Git CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline
•Manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
•Utilize scripting languages (Linux, Python) for automation and system integration
•Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance
•Implement and manage serverless solutions, including Lambda deployment and API gateways
•Optional: Familiarity with Agile methodologies for efficient project delivery
•Optional: Experience with Systems Manager (SSM), Terraform, MWAA, and other relevant technologies
•Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing
About the role
You’re a fit for the role of Senior DevOps Engineer, if you meet all or most of these criteria:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
•5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or related role
•Expertise in Git Actions, Git CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudFormation, networking, version control, and scripting (Linux, Python)
•Optional: Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Lambda deployment, API gateways, SSM, Terraform, MWAA, and deployment processes
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
