About this Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Pune to lead the optimisation of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to enable seamless integration and delivery, leveraging expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Python, and Terraform. The individual will contribute to scalable, reliable systems and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation, monitoring, and infrastructure as code.


What you’ll do
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Utilise AWS services to build, optimise, and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Kafka clusters for real-time data streaming and processing.
  • Write and maintain Python-based automation and monitoring scripts.
  • Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability using tools such as Dynatrace or similar APM solutions.
  • Manage and optimise EKS clusters and support network connectivity flows, including VPNs and VPC endpoints.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve operational efficiency and delivery practices.
  • Apply knowledge of AI tools and emerging DevOps technologies to enhance workflows.
  • Stay aligned with industry trends and best practices in cloud and DevOps engineering.


Who you are
  • An experienced DevOps Engineer or similar professional with hands-on expertise.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, Python, and Terraform.
  • Skilled in managing network connectivity flows, including VPN and VPC endpoints.
  • Experienced with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiar with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Instana, Datadog, or PagerDuty.
  • A collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Effective at communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ideally certified in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies, with awareness of other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledgeable in cloud security best practices.
