JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Get exposure to a complete Product Life Cycle Development.
  
• Implement new features and modern designs to improve the experience of our member-facing digital platform and internal servicing tools.
  
• Work closely with Product Owners, Design, DevOps, QA, and otherengineers to develop performant, innovative, scalable, and secure code.
  
• Define and apply coding standards that reduce complexity, while mentoringother developers to standard processes that fully demonstrate modern Java functionality.
  
• Influence the build and deployment process by collaborating in problem-solving discussions to find solutions driven by experience and analytical skills.
  
• Plan, test, and develop web applications in a microservice architecture using React, Next.js, Express, Material-UI, and MongoDB and PHP frameworks.
  
• Design and implement internal API’s and integrate third-party APIs (APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE) to support our platform.
  
• Participate in design workshops and technical requirements sessions as needed.
  

• Bachelor's degree required.
  
• Have 3+ years of applicable work experience.
  
• Comfortable working in a full stack environment using PHP, JavaScript, Node, React (must) or other modern JS frameworks.
  
• Enjoy the variety of working in both a teamenvironment and independently.
  
• Record of accomplishment in champion test driven development and collaborative code review processes.
  
• Experience working with React UI and PHP.
  
• Have experience with source control management (We use Git).
  
• Comfortablewith databases and modern paradigms (We use MongoDB, Elasticsearch/Solr, and Microsoft SQL Server).
  
• Bring the bonus knowledge of WCAG, CircleCI, Ampersand, Cloudinary, Redis, Jira, or AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  
• Experience in participating in modern SDLC (software development lifecycle) practices.
  
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
