Position Overview A senior Teamcenter professional with deep, hands-on implementation experience who is ready to expand their career orbit into information development, using that hard-won expertise to create documentation that helps customers harness the power of Teamcenter. The ideal candidate has spent years in the field installing, configuring, customizing, and administering Teamcenter in real enterprise environments. They know the complexity, the edge cases, and the workflows that matter, and are now motivated to put that knowledge to work creating authoritative, practitioner-grade content that implementation engineers, administrators, developers, and architects can rely on. Equally meaningful is proven fluency in AI. In this role, AI is not an occasional aid — it is a daily professional tool, applied consistently to produce higher-quality content more efficiently and at scale. Responsibilities Conduct audience and task analyses to design documentation for implementation engineers, administrators, developers, and solution architects Plan and develop documentation for Teamcenter installation, configuration, upgrades, and post-deployment validation, covering both multi-tier and distributed deployment architectures Create technical documentation for Teamcenter customization and extensibility, including BMIDE, APIs, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) frameworks, workflow configuration, and Active Workspace customization Develop realistic examples, configuration samples, and reference scenarios grounded in actual implementation experience to help users apply documented procedures to real-world environments Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and engineering teams to capture accurate technical information, validate content, and stay current with product evolution Apply AI tools strategically across the documentation workflow to accelerate drafting, improve consistency, and continuously raise content quality Mentor other information developers by sharing Teamcenter implementation knowledge and best practices to strengthen the broader team's technical depth Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Ten or more years of hands-on Teamcenter experience spanning installation, administration, customization, and implementation consulting in enterprise environments, with a demonstrated solid understanding of BMIDE, ITK, SOA frameworks, Active Workspace, multi-tier architecture, and related implementation tooling Proven implementation credentials, including configuring environments, resolving deployment challenges, customizing business logic, and administering Teamcenter in production settings Demonstrated AI fluency as a core professional competency, with a consistent track record of applying AI tools strategically to improve the quality, efficiency, and consistency of technical work, regardless of current role or discipline Ability to translate deep implementation knowledge into clear, structured, and actionable documentation for technical audiences including developers, administrators, and solution architects Ability to gather accurate technical information through collaboration, research, and structured interviews with engineering teams, product managers, subject matter experts, and customer-facing field personnel Qualifications Degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent experience demonstrated through a strong Teamcenter implementation track record Experience with Teamcenter solution architecture, including enterprise PLM deployment strategy and integration within broader digital manufacturing ecosystems Industry background in automotive, aerospace and defense, or other manufacturing sectors, with familiarity with PLM and PDM best practices Familiarity with software development practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
