We are looking for: Lead Electrical Engineer – Data Centers You’ll make an impact by: · Creating basic designs and supervising detailed designs in the field of low and medium voltage distributors, E-houses and busduct systems. · Understanding technical requirements from specifications and converting them into appropriate basic designs. · Reviewing technical basic and detail designs. · Ensuring that installations are designed and delivered in accordance with the specified requirements. · Planning project work and preparing progress reports. · Managing and supervising fellow engineers for detail engineering. · Proactively liaising with the client and the sales and quotation team. · Maintaining financial status and preparing additional work quotations. · Organising and attending factory tests (FAT) with the customer. · Managing any sub-suppliers and Siemens factories. · Initiating and developing improvement proposals. Use your skills to move the world forward! · Completed degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor or Master level) · 8+ years' work experience as a (lead) engineer; · Knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution boards, distribution boards, transformers and electrical protective devices; · You are creative and able to communicate ideas and inspire/motivate people; · Accurate, critical and have broad technical knowledge and interest; · Flexible working attitude, practical and result-oriented; · Stress-resistant and able to act within a pressured environment; · Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken; · Living in the Chennai region. · Working week of 40 hours.
