What you will be doing 

You will be a part of the FIS® Compliance Suite (formerly Protegent) next generation product development initiative, joining a team of highly motivated and focused developers to develop our next generation compliance product. As a QA Engineer on this team, you will join our product QA team, will be involved in analysing and understanding functional requirements, working as a scrum team member to own ticket creation, requirement documentation, defining acceptance criteria and come up with detailed test cases to ensure requirements are thoroughly covered and tested for our next generation compliance solution while working with our development teams, functional QA teams and business analysts. You may get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a deep understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.

What you will need

Knowledge / Experience

• 6 to 8 years of experience years of experience into Manual and Functional testing
• Good SQL skills to be able to analyse the data
• Quick learner to grasp product knowledge
• ⁠Experience analysing and understanding functional requirements
• ⁠Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Conversant with RCA process
• Ability to work in a dynamic, curious and highly collaborative team-oriented environment using Agile/Scrum development process
• ⁠Hands on experience of agile processes and working as a scrum team member to own ticket creation, requirement documentation, defining acceptance criteria.
• Sound knowledge of working with JIRA
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid collaborative skills to work with technical and functional team
• Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving
• Ability to work independently with minimum guidance, and take ownership
• Good team player
• Self-motivated and self-learner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering and equivalent.
