  Responsibilities

  
  
  

  • As a Senior Data Engineering Manager, you'll lead the development of foundational technologies and data products, driving ADI towards a data-driven future.

    
    

  • Lead the global team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Architects and implementation of data engineering strategies, ensuring alignment with ADI’s organizational goals and objectives.

    
    

  • Have the ability to perform hands on work using Python, ability to write complex SQL’s, perform troubleshooting and exploratory data analysis.

    
    

  • Experienced in creating dashboards using enterprise tools such as Tableau,PowerBI.

    
    

  • Experience in using cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP

    
    

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

    
    

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive actionable insights and value.

    
    

  • Define and enforce best practices for data management, governance, and quality assurance to ensure the integrity and reliability of enterprise data assets.

    
    

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering team, exploring new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    
    

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project statuses, risks, and dependencies.

    
    

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute a long-term roadmap for data engineering capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.

    
    
  
  

  Qualifications

  
  
  

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 7+ years working with data engineering technologies.

    
    

  • 5+ years leading technical teams and managing complex data engineering projects and pipelines.

    
    

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 

    
    

  • Broad expertise and experience with distributed systems, streaming systems, and data engineering tools, such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, Dagster, etc.

    
    

  • Deep knowledge of Cloud datawarehouses (Snowflake/Databricks/Bigquery/Fabric), Python, SQL, database design, and master data strategies.

    
    
  
  
  

  • Experience defining, architecting, and rolling out data products, including ownership of data products through their entire lifecycle.

    
    

  • Experience mentoring and leading junior technical staff, incorporating modern software development tools and practices.

    
    

  • A confident peer influencer with strong communication skills who quickly establishes credibility and is capable of leading cross-functional technical teams
