Senior Manager, Workday Platform & Integrations
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Workday Platform & Integrations to lead the delivery, implementation, support, and optimization of Workday technical solutions across the enterprise. This role will focus heavily on Workday platform engineering, integrations, APIs, automation, and Workday Extend development.
The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Workday technical architecture, integration development, APIs, and platform operations, along with strong experience leading technical delivery teams and executing enterprise-scale Workday initiatives.
This role will partner closely with HR, Security, Enterprise Applications, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable Workday technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Workday Platform Delivery & Operations
•    Lead delivery and operational support of the Workday platform including tenant management, release management, and platform administration activities. 
•    Manage implementation and deployment of Workday technical solutions, enhancements, and production support initiatives. 
•    Ensure platform stability, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. 
•    Establish and maintain technical standards, development processes, and operational procedures for Workday solutions. 
•    Coordinate Workday release testing, validation, deployment, and production readiness activities.

Workday Integrations & APIs
•    Lead development, implementation, and support of Workday integrations across HR, Finance, Payroll, Identity, and third-party systems. 
•    Oversee integration solutions using: 
o    Workday Studio 
o    Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) 
o    Core Connectors 
o    Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) 
o    Workday Cloud Connect 
o    Workday Orchestrate 
•    Design and implement API-based integrations and middleware connectivity solutions. 
•    Manage integration monitoring, troubleshooting, logging, and incident resolution processes. 
•    Coordinate integration testing, deployment validation, and production support activities.

Workday Extend & Technical Solutions
•    Lead delivery and support of Workday Extend applications and custom technical solutions. 
•    Manage Workday Extend development lifecycle including configuration, testing, deployment, and support. 
•    Support automation and workflow enhancement initiatives leveraging Workday Extend and orchestration capabilities. 
•    Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
•    Maintain technical documentation, deployment standards, and support procedures for Extend applications.

Technical Operations & Security
•    Support Workday integration security configuration including authentication methods, API security, and secure connectivity standards. 
•    Partner with Security and Audit teams to support compliance and access review activities related to integrations and platform operations. 
•    Coordinate issue resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation for platform and integration incidents. 
•    Ensure operational compliance with enterprise IT standards, security controls, and change management processes. 
•    Manage platform maintenance activities and technical support escalations.

Team Leadership & Project Delivery
•    Lead and manage a team of Workday integration developers
•    Coordinate technical project execution, resource planning, and delivery timelines. 
•    Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members. 
•    Support Agile delivery processes and project execution activities. 
•    Collaborate across IT and business teams to ensure successful delivery of Workday technical initiatives.

Required Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 
•    8+ years of Workday technical experience including integrations, APIs, and platform support. 
•    5+ years of experience leading technical teams or Workday delivery initiatives. 
•    Strong expertise with: 
o    Workday Studio 
o    EIB 
o    Core Connectors 
o    Workday APIs (SOAP/REST) 
o    Workday Security 
o    Workday Extend 
•    Experience integrating Workday with enterprise applications and cloud platforms. 
•    Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies. 
•    Experience supporting SDLC, testing, deployment, and production support processes. 
•    Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.

•    Workday certifications in: 
o    Integrations 
o    Workday Extend 
o    Security 
o    HCM or Recruiting  
•    Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday implementations and technical operations. 
•    Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD deployment practices.
