We are looking for an individual with techno-commercial acumen and is excited to take up new challenges working as a member of the Procurement team reporting to the Procurement Manager in India. Positioned strategically to support Business teams to manage supplier and procurement lifecycle, the candidate would be expected to work closely with the End users, finance team members and the suppliers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive delivery of department business as usual goals by collaborating with by collaborating with internal members of IT, Finance and other departments
- Review Purchase requisitions and support business purchasers to deliver Purchase Order (PO) process
- Deliver stakeholder engagement operating rhythm by proactively engaging with stakeholders to deliver forward planning and ensure timely support to procurement projects
- Support review of commercial terms and conditions and agreement drafting and negotiations process.
- Generate MI to monitor KPIs for department and analytical reports meeting Business requirements using MS Office and comparable tools
- Support Records Management activity for department
- Support as SPOC for department risk and compliance initiatives
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management, Operations Management, and related experience.
Work Experience:
- Relevant 7-10 years’ experience in Source to Pay (S2P) in IT or ITES industry including independent management of commercial and contract negotiations across various procurement categories
- Experience of working with stakeholder in different time zones and geography
- Awareness of Procurement risk and compliance framework and familiarity with various stages of contract life-cycle and contract types. Experience in working with IT category preferred. Familiar with procurement of Data- Centre, IT Hardware like Servers, storages, and networking assets will be preferred for this role.
Other Skill requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in engaging with executive management
- Ability to multitask and meet steep timelines
- Ability to handle ambiguity
- Able to demonstrate creativity, curiosity and collaboration skills
- Formal experience in project management will be desired skill
