Role Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and strategies, supporting the expansion of our Batch Tyre Pyrolysis Plants. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing within the manufacturing, energy, or related sectors. This critical role requires a proactive leader who can navigate global markets to secure high-quality materials and services at the best prices, ensuring sustainability and ethical practices within the supply chain.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that support company goals, emphasizing cost-efficiency, quality, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Oversee the procurement department, managing tasks related to purchasing, supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and supply chain sustainability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners worldwide, ensuring they meet our standards for quality, reliability, and ethics.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to predict needs, procure essential materials on time, and manage procurement budgets effectively.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts within the procurement process, employing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with international trade regulations, environmental laws, and corporate social responsibility standards.
  • Manage and develop the procurement team, setting goals, evaluating performance, and encouraging professional growth.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is highly desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the manufacturing, energy, or sustainable technology sectors.
  • Proven skills in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management, with a track record of achieving cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of handling complex projects and multitasking effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • A commitment to ethical procurement practices, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for supplier evaluation, negotiation, and relationship building.
