Job Description

GCOI (Grocery Catalog Ops and Intel) is looking for a strong Program manager with an understanding of operations management. If you are a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with a passion for developing scalable long-term solutions, then you are the right candidate for our team. In this role, the candidate would work closely with operations, product/program, and tech teams across the US Grocery businesses. They would be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate operational knowledge across the organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to business and functional leaders, driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve process quality, and promote continuous learning and improvement. They create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, training programs. Additionally, they will be responsible for some Catalog programs and goals.
The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact daily with leaders in the US and Hyderabad.
We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. Key job responsibilities
- Defining goals inline with the business vision, and building roadmaps to achieve the same.
- Identifying business impact of trends and making data backed decisions.
- Communicating with stakeholders and leadership through narrative documents
- Extracting data from databases and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Lead the development and implementation of a robust knowledge management framework, including policies, processes, and supporting technologies to capture, store, and share operational knowledge.
- Collaborate with functional teams to identify critical knowledge assets, document best practices, and create comprehensive process manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Design and deliver effective training programs to onboard new team members and upskill existing employees on key operational processes and tools.
- Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, and provide data-driven recommendations to business and functional leaders.
- Develop product strategies for auditing GCOI’s operational work at scale, with the aim of using minimal human resources
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge-sharing, and quality-driven decision-making.
About the team
Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon’s WW Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Hyderabad, TS, IND
- 5+ years of operational and/or retail management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and concise SOPs or narratives.
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 4+ years of program or project management experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
