Senior QA Engineer

Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy, Planning & Execution

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies (functional & non-functional)

  
  
  

• Create detailed test plans aligned with product requirements

  
  
  

• Identify test coverage gaps and continuously improve test processes

  
  
  

• Analyze requirements and design test cases with full traceability

  
  
  

• Execute manual and automated test suites

  
  
  

• Prepare test environments and test data

  
  
  

• Perform regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing

  
  
  

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to improve quality processes, including CI/CD pipeline integration

  
  
  

Defect Management & Quality Ownership

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

  
  
  

• Provide test reports and quality metrics dashboards

  
  
  

• Support GO/NO-GO release decisions

  
  
  

• Own overall product/release quality

  
  
  

• Advocate best practices in QA and continuous improvement

  
  
  

• Participate in design/specification reviews to ensure testability
   

  
  
  

Performance Testing

• Own performance Testing – To ensure the system remains stable, scalable & identify the bottlenecks before the product is released to users

  
  
  

• Responsible for Performance Test Script Creation, Executing scenarios, Metric Monitoring & Reporting.

  
  
  

• Should have proficiency in Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter or Load Runner or Similar Tools

  
  
  

Technical Skills

• Test Automation: Selenium / Playwright

  
  
  

• Programming: Java / Python / JavaScript

  
  
  

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions

  
  
  

• Test Management: TestNG, JUnit

  
  
  

• API Testing: Postman / REST

  
  
  

Personal Skills

• Strong Collaboration and Co-ordination skills

  
  
  

• Self-starter, Proactive and can work with minimal supervision.

  
  
  

• Focused and Goal Oriented

  
  
  

• Strong Communication Skills (Proficiency in English)

  
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent experience

  
  
  

Experience

• 8+ years in software testing / QA

  
  
  

• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments

  
  
  

• AI in Quality Assurance – Good To Have
