Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Content Platform Development team in India to help us build and maintain our content ingestion and enhancement platform. If you passionate about coding and have a history of leading the development of a scalable could system, we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for someone who has experience with Automation & Manual, and ideally has strong knowledge of relational databases. It will be great if you have experience with java, selenium as well.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Computer Science, with at least 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to design, implement and execute automated tests and clearly document results.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Robot framework or similar.
• Experience in Performance Testing.
• Experience with testing APIs.
• Some experience in working with databases such as MSSQL, MYSQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience of BDD
• Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues.
• Ability to comprehend business requirements and software specification documents.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to learn new tools.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Active in pursuing learning opportunities.
• Experience with Windows server environments (preferred, not essential)
• Experience with Java (preferred, not essential)

What will you be doing in this role?

• Designs, implements & executes automated tests.
• Debugs and fixes existing automated tests.
• Executes and maintains manual test scripts as needed.
• Uses bug tracking and report generating tools
• Communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to leadership and/or stakeholders.
• Configures regression framework to run against different instances
• Performs periodic validation of applications to meet GxP compliance.
• Contributing to authoring GxP documentation as needed.
• Works closely with Software Engineers, Product and Project Management

About the Team

The Content Platform Development team consists of multiple squads working on different initiatives from content ingestion platforms to workflow automation systems, helping our internal users deliver quality, enhanced content to our customer facing platforms.

Hours of Work

45 hours per week, permanent full-time position
