As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing our mission-critical transaction applications. You'll be at the heart of our technological innovation, ensuring our systems can handle several hundred transactions per second with reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Python, with a strong emphasis on asynchronous programming.
• Develop and maintain robust AWS-based infrastructures, including services like ECS Fargate, MSK, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and RDS.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical applications handling more than a few hundred TPS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and workflows for optimal performance.
• Contribute to the design and development of socket-based communication and containerization strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins, to streamline development and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record in designing and deploying high-scale applications.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and Python programming, particularly with async.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (ECS Fargate, MSK, S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, RDS) and designing AWS-based solutions.
• Familiarity with sockets, containerization technologies, and CI/CD practices, Jenkins preferred.
• Experience with Parquet, big data processing with EMR, and machine learning model development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environments.
