Experian Digital Consumer Information (DCI) is looking for .Net Developers in Hyderabad, India to work alongside our UK colleagues to deliver business outcomes for the UK&I region.

Background:

This is an incredibly exciting time for the Experian UKI Region, as we look to build our presence out in Hyderabad and embark on a technology transformation programme to meet our global aspiration to significantly scale our business over the next five years. This an opportunity to join us on this journey and be part of a collaborative team that uses Agile DevSecOps principles to deliver business value. 

By way of background, DCI currently comprises of 27 engineering teams who deliver over 70 products achieving $250m revenue per annum.

The Role:

Experian Verifications is a new domain that is building a market in the UK. We will be launching the MVP in January 2022 and are now investing in our long-term roadmap to deliver market leading features across a variety of distribution verticals such as mortgages, auto, background checking and debt management. Its premise is to enable our clients to build fully digital journeys by providing key Income and employment data.

As a Developer in the Verifications team, you will be responsible for developing the features and core services that power the applications and solutions our integrators rely on.  Working closely with other Developers, QA engineers, Architects and Product Owners you will grow to understand the domain before bringing your own ideas to solve real business problems.

Our Tech:

We are using .NET 6.0 and React for developing our application. This is hosted in AWS. We are always keen to evaluate new features coming in .NET,  React and AWS to see if we can take the advantage of them. Continuously improving the application in terms of security aspects

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing new functionality
• Constant improvements in the user interface and user experience
• Ensuring System scalability, security
• Having regular brainstorming sessions and improve code organizations
• Performing peer code review, give efficient feedback
• Mentoring experienced web engineers in React, Typescript, .NET
• You will play an active role in the product development and assist us to reach its full potential

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Full Stack Software Engineer with 5 -9 years of total experience
• At least 4-6 years of C# .NET Framework/.NET Core experience
• Git repo experience
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. React JS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• At least 2-4 years of Strong experience in JavaScript including React JS
• Make complicated things - simple
• Easily break down requirements into architecture and deliver code
• Excellent verbal & oral communication
• Organized - Ability to work independently, effective time management skills.
• Must be able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks and possess a "sense of urgency" to ensure deadlines are met

Nice to Have:

• Experience delivering cloud-native Services and Applications
• AWS or any other cloud knowledge
• Entity Framework & Databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with sonar and veracode
• Knowledge and experience working with Typescript
• Working in a microservices architecture
• Experience working with Test Driven Development
• Working in an Agile team
