Job Description

As partoftheData Platformwithinthe Market Insightsdivision, weareseeking a skilledSenior Software Engineer whoispassionateaboutdevelopment and possesses a strong understandingof operational aspects. Ourgoalistomaintain and enhancescalable and reusablesoftwarecomponents and solutions, specificallydesignedforenterprise-level dataprocessing. Yourprimaryresponsibility will beour master data management system, ensuringitseffectiveness, efficiency, availability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. 

You will:

• Divedeepintoourbusinessdomain and understandwhywebuildthings and howtohelpourstakeholders.

  
  

• Learnabout and introducethe best practices and latesttrends in industryaswellas support themaintenanceofexistingsystems.

  
  

• Manage and maintaininterfaces and dependenciestootherteams and systems

  
  

• Write effective and scalable code.

  
  

• Ensurecomponentscanbedeliveredto high standardsofautomatedqualityassurance and reducedeffortsofmaintenance.

  
  

• Manage and maintaintechnicaldebt and projectdocumentation

  
  

Youhave:

• 7+ years relevant job experience in softwaredevelopment.

  
  

• Strong C# / .NET (Core) applicationdevelopmentknowledge

  
  

• Strong knowledge on relational databasemanagementsystems (preferably Oracle)

  
  

• Extended experience withRESTful API design and development.

  
  

• Knowledge on micro-service basedarchitecturesincludingorchestration.

  
  

• Strong knowledge on applicationtesting and testautomation (unittesting, integrationtesting, test-datamanagement)

  
  

• Knowledge on containerdrivenenvironments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Hashicorp Nomad orsimilar) 

  
  

• Solid knowledge on buildingdistributedsystems.

  
  

• Prior experience workingwith and on CI/CD pipeline.

  
  

• Fluency in English.

  
  

• Diploma in Computer-Science orcomparableworking experience.

  
  

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in ASP.NET and JavaScript SPA framework(s).

  
  

• Working knowledgewithAngular.

  
  

• Working knowledgewith source controlsystems like Git.

  
  

• Prior experience in ORACLE PL-SQL.

  
  

• Prior experience in building ETL pipelines and batchprocessingdata.

  
  

• Knowledge on test and behaviourdrivendevelopment (TDD/BDD)

  
  

• Knowledge on measuring code quality and code analysistoolingfor .NET
