MRI Software is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team working on products. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. You should have a passion for development and an eagerness to learn new things and improve your skills. We are looking for a team player who is willing to offer opinions confidently and to hear others.
Required Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of PHP development experience with PHP 7.x and 8.x
- Strong MySQL database design and optimization skills
- Frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
- Experience with RESTful API development
- Proficiency with Subversion(SVN) control
- Linux server environment experience (Ubuntu preferred)
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Apache and PHP-FPM configuration
- API testing with Postman
- Automated task scheduling with Cron Jobs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper authentication
- Collaborate on database design and optimization
- Write comprehensive unit tests and maintain code quality
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions
