Overview:

Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our friendly and dynamic team. As an Australian product with a global presence, our developers are based in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
• As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to work on a widely used product that's trusted by thousands of real estate agents across Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate with other engineers, product managers and testers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users.
• Our projects are well-documented by experienced product managers and designers, providing you with clear requirements and expectations. You will work on both the front end, using React and some backbone.js and on the backend Rails backend APIs.

Required Skills:

• Over 8+ years experience with Ruby or Rails (preferably as an API)
• Modern JavaScript (preferably TypeScript)
• SQL (preferably MySQL/Mariadb)
• HTML/CSS
• Desirable Skills:
• React (Angular/Vue.js experience would be considered)
• Backobone.js (Marionette)
• TypeScript
• TDD
• AWS
• Rest APIs
• React Native
• Elasticsearch
• Passionate about programming
• Agile methodologies
• AI tools

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
