Senior Software Test Engineer

Summary: Senior Software Test Engineer for eUICC team responsible for testing of the NXP eUICC solutions on various platforms

Responsibilities:

• Work as an individual contributor in the test team responsible for delivering high quality NXP flagship embedded software products in the SmartCard / eUICC domain.

  
  

• Act as the interface between the eUICC team that works with mobile network operators and the R&D test and development team.

  
  

• Perform first level analysis of issues observed in the field on NXP solutions, develop tests to replicate the issues in the lab and provide support for debugging these.

  
  

• Carry out testing of the NXP eUICC solutions on various platforms at various MNOs both domestic and global.

  
  

• Understand key feature requirements that may originate from technical standard documents or from internal documents and ensure that these are adequately tested in the field before production release.

  
  

Qualification:

• 6-10 years of work experience.

  
  

• Must have good core Java programming skills.

  
  

• Must be familiar with software testing and debugging in an embedded environment.

  
  

• Familiarity with usage, development and maintenance of automated test suites and test automation frameworks such as Junit is preferable.

  
  

• Familiarity with source control tools such as SVN is mandatory.

  
  

• Ability to think “on your feet” and adapt to changing situations.
