Role Summary

What you’ll be doing

• Work with internal teams to evaluate, design & develop custom web applications and reporting systems used to meet business objectives.
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements for new features, changes, and enhancements.
• Research, recommend, test, and implement new databases, applications, and reporting technologies.
• Manage deployments from development to production systems.
• Responsible for all project lifecycle phases, from specifications and coding through deployment, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
• Collaborates with peers to develop web applications, prototypes, and multimedia presentations.
• Collaborates with external teams in the development of shared reusable component libraries.
• Provides time estimates and status reports for web application development projects. • Performs support and maintenance of web applications.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure products are held to high standards and in adherence to style guides.
• Other duties as required. Summary of Primary Responsibilities
• Create UI/UX deliverables, including interaction models, task flows, personas, wireframes, site maps and user/functional requirements that are relevant to product specifications.
• Translate design concepts into functional prototypes & full web applications.
• Design a comprehensive set of UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and forms for standardizing all user interaction.
• Create iconography and visual design with thoughtful typography, color, to enhance a design. • Optimize UI designs in critical areas of the existing application.
• Discuss and explain the UX at various stages of the design & development process to stakeholders.
• Document UX/UI requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations.
• Develop, tests, documents, and deploys web applications.
• Performs support and maintenance for web applications

What your background looks like

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing graphic user interfaces elements and UI mockups/prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Knowledge of usability factors in human computer interaction .
• 4+ years developing web applications utilizing Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap and SCSS, understand the operating principle of the browser, and be able to develop independently without Front-end libraries.
• 3+ years professional experience with React.
• 3+ years hands on Professional experience with REST based API development with XML/JSON.
• Experience in 3rd party API integration and development (application programming interface) to integrate backend APIs.
• Experience in using Git, Bit Bucket, Babel, Webpack and other with modern development tools.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript/HTML/CSS/jQuery and SCSS, understand the operating principle of the browser, and be able to develop independently without Front-end libraries.
• Solid front-end programming skills with experience in solving browser compatibility issues and optimizing front-end performance.
• Familiar with front-end mainstream frameworks, JS libraries and related ecological tools, such as: React/AngularJS. Understand their design principles and application scenarios.
• Experience in developing user interface components using React JS workflows such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Thunk/ReduxSaga.
• Familiar with front-end engineering and modularization development and have experience in large-scale application development and maintenance.
• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and Typescript.
• Experience in developing re-usable UI components/Micro front end architecture.
• Understanding of browser compatibility and troubleshooting, CORS, etc.
• Exposure to NodeJS and Experience with ExtJS is a big plus.
• Ability to determine root cause analysis and resolution of complex performance/stability related issues.
• Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security and Identity & Access Management technologies is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Cloud (AWS/ Azure) pipelines & other build automation tools will be a great advantage.
