Job Description

This position will be a part of the Service Interns Group and would report to the Manager-Re-fielding Services of RRC in Chennai.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


1. Perform the Repair Process of instruments and systems at our Repair and Re-Fielding Center (RRC)


2. Trouble shooting / Performing Preventive maintenance / updates / Modifications


3. To maintain the documentation of reconditioning process and performance test results.


4. To maintain the forecast sheet for the RRC instruments.


5. Follow up of the Repaired instruments which is sent to field after RRC process up to 6 months.


6. To gain more knowledge on all product lines and improve the RRC process.


7. Performing 5S at RRC to get a organized working environment.


8. Maintain the RRC tools for repair process.


9. Achieve the productivity as per the target and forecast.


10. Maintain the quality of RRC as per the Quality and Regulation rules.


11. To initiate the revised RRC Process for all products.


12. Follow standard process / procedure.


13. Work with FSE and get the help from them as appropriate


The Extended requirements of this role would be, that you


Demonstrate strong communication capability, both verbal and written, has the confidence to state the issue and propose a solution to relevant stakeholders. This will include establishing and maintaining customer relationships.


The essential requirements of the job include but not limited to


  • Graduation- Electrical/Electronics/ Biomedical Engineering (Any subject with electrical and electronics in the curriculum)
  • 0-2 Years experience on maintenance and service of instrumentation- Medical or Analytical. Having basic exposure/ Experience working on In-Vitro Diagnostics Equipments such as Hematlogy, Clinical Chemistry or Immunoassay analyzers would be an added advantage.       
  • Experience of having worked in healthcare space (Hospitals, Laboratories, Manufacturing etc)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


  • A proven ability to interface with diverse technical stake holders is an essential requirement.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other functions to achieve client delight.
  • MS -office, Teams, and general computer skills
  • Available to travel within territory or outside at a short notice.
