The ServiceNow Administrator will handle the day-to-day administration of the Vontier IT Shared Services ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow operational subject matter expert, the ServiceNow Administrator will act as an ITSM Tools best practice champion, perform troubleshooting, and configuration analysis to ensure that the ITSM Tools platform within Vontier IT Shared Services continues to grow and mature. The ServiceNow Administrator will be required to participate daily sprint discussions, and provide operational feedback to the development roadmap for the platform.
The ServiceNow Administrator must be a skilled, hands-on professional that will ensure the Vontier IT Shared Services ServiceNow platform is configured correctly, performing optimally, and that all stakeholder requests are fulfilled in a timely manner. The ServiceNow Administrator may from time to time be required to work after hours, weekends, and holidays. The ServiceNow Administrator must act as a subject matter expert for the platform, for all Vontier IT Shared Services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Responsible for working with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for ServiceNow projects. This includes understanding the business processes, identifying pain points, and translating them into functional requirements.
• Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform.
• Responsible for assisting with testing and validating the solutions that were designed and configured.
• Assist in troubleshooting patch / release management issue.
• Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and monitor SLA workflows.
• Create and use update sets to move configurations between systems.
• Responsible for staying up to date with the latest ITIL/Agile best practices and trends.
WHO YOU ARE
• Bachelor's degree in computer related subject or equivalent work experience or appropriate professional certifications.
• Typically, can demonstrate 2 - 3 years of IT work experience, with at least 1 - 2 years of experience working with Agile methodologies, and 1 - 2 years of ServiceNow Administration.
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator in a fast-paced application development environment.
• Recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a Administrator (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• An understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is expected.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Platform.
• Experience in the ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request Management. Experience in configuring and managing these processes within ServiceNow.
• Curious and self-motivated, willing to explore new technologies.
• Experience with UAT Testing with stakeholders and Data Gathering for applications is also required.
• Experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, and XML.
