Job Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Snowflake Developer - IT in Chennai, India.
In this role, you will be In-charge of for exploring complex business problems to solve them with automated, customized, developed and standardize systems implementations and solutions, also oversee designing details for automated systems and processes to make them more efficient. Also designing the framework and process, troubleshooting technical malfunctions, risk research working with stakeholders and delivering a solution that is viable and consistent.
What a typical day looks like:

• Research complex business problems and propose automated solutions to improve operations and processes efficiency.
• In charge of providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, to provide consultation to users related to automated systems
• Research, design and test new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of site business/customer's requirements.
• Resolve required improvements on the systems & supervise its correct implementation to meet site business/customer’s requirements.
• Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve day to day system issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Execute Global IT projects.
• Design and implement advanced BI, Data Integration, and AI solutions using: Snowflake for cloud data warehousing, Informatica for ETL and data integration, Tableau and MicroStrategy for dashboards and reporting, Qlik Replicate for real-time data replication, Kafka for event streaming and data pipelines and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log analytics and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports ensuring scalability and security.
• Implement AI-driven solutions for predictive analytics and process automation.
• Provide technical support for critical dashboards and reports across Tableau and MicroStrategy.
• Research complex business problems and propose automated, AI-enabled solutions to improve operations and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly across BI, ETL, and data streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with business units to understand BI and data integration needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI and AI solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures.
• Research, design, and test new systems and enhancements aligned with business/customer requirements.
• Supervise implementation of required improvements to meet site business/customer needs.
• Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day system issues for smooth operations.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Functional knowledge, education background on Systems or industrial engineer, Computer science, programming, or related careers; or relevant working experience required.
• Typically requires 6-8 years of related experience.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of functional concepts and a solid understanding of Flex policies and procedures.
• Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
• Knowledge in SQL, team focus, Desirable knowledge in Jira and confluence.
• Tools & Technologies:
• Data Platforms: Snowflake, Informatica.
• BI Tools: Tableau, MicroStrategy.
• Streaming & Replication: Kafka, Qlik Replicate.
• Monitoring & Analytics: ELK Stack.
• Programming & Automation: Python, Unix Shell scripting.
• Job Scheduling: Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
• AI/ML: At least one Implementation experience of a Full BPM Automation using LLM
