About the job
The Channel Marketing Team, within Integrated Marketing, leads the owned channel strategy, activation and optimization for the enterprise. Managing all marketing levers to drive specific outcomes for stakeholders including B2B & B2C lead and revenue generation and enterprise initiatives. This cross channel team develops and manages stakeholder strategies and execution on digital properties (including Nielsen.com), email, mobile and social properties.
Our social channels publish content across multiple channels - each with different targeting capabilities - to reach our target audiences. We aim to develop interactive modern content that users expect from those in the media industry.
This role reports to the VP, Channel Marketing and plays a critical role in supporting the execution of social strategies, messaging and content to support the commercial go to market and strategy of the business. 
This role will collaborate closely with other parts of the Marketing organization as well as wider Nielsen stakeholders to determine our priorities and deliver on solutions.

Responsibilities


  • Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives
  • Acquire new followers by filling gaps in our marketing content output
  • Support the development of engaging content that resonates internally and externally
  • Identify new channels to embed our brand that align our marketing direction
  • Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools 
  • Support the monitoring of key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep our social media presence consistently relevant

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Social Media Marketing, Communications, and/or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experienced English language writer and content creator. Experience in creating sales presentations using Google Slides
  • Excellent organization, project management, communication and problem solving skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • A proactive, goal-oriented team player able to work independently and collectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship skills capable of developing, maintaining and growing internal and external strategic relationships across partners and functions  
  • Experience with social media tools and an active social media user
