Amazon.com’s Detail Page team under Buying Experience (BuyX) is looking for a Software Development Engineer-II who can participate in design and development of our multi tiered, highly scalable applications that provide best possible online shopping and buying experience for our customers. Our team is comprised of talented developers, program managers, designers and product managers tasked with singular goal to create world's best buying experience. We are looking for an innovative and customer-obsessed candidate for Twister team in Detail page to help us and partners to safely deliver their innovations rapidly while ensuring a high quality experience for our customers.
Twister is unique feature on detail page, which helps customers to do product evaluation on multiple dimension like size, color, spec etc. We envision to provide near to in-store product evaluation experience for our customers. Exemplifying Customer obsession, Editable Detail Page is new initiative started by Twister team to crowd-source feedback on information displayed on detail page, helping us maintain high quality of information we display.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
