Scope:

• BYDS is seeking a detail-oriented Java Developer to join our Test Automation Engineering team to improve product quality and test automation. You will design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks to streamline testing processes, ensuring high-quality, reliable software solutions utilizing Java and related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will work closely with senior developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver robust software solutions that meet business needs. In this role, you will be expected to write functional and integration test cases to increase test automation coverage and to participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and be able to contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, behavior-driven-development (BDD) and software engineering principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

  
  

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Enterprise Java-based applications

  
  

• Develop unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests using tools such as Junit

  
  

• Understand and build functional tests using the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) processes

  
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features

  
  

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

  
  

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues

  
  

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle

  
  

• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness

  
  

What we are looking for:

• Education: BE/ME or B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science, MCS or MCA in Computer Science, Supply Chain

  
  

• 3+ - max 6 years years of experience in Java development

  
  

• Only for Pune location

  
  

• Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript and Python

  
  

• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle

  
  

• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) concepts

  
  

• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

  
  

• Experience with version control systems like Git

  
  

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  
  

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
